A: No. Lazyspond strictly uses Meta's Official Instagram Messenger API provided directly by Meta. You are connecting via legitimate, approved methods — we do not use any shady scraping, unauthorized bots, or unofficial API endpoints.

Lazyspond is a verified Meta Tech Provider, meaning Meta has reviewed and approved our integration.

Q: Is my data safe with Lazyspond?

A: Yes. Your data is:

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Only accessible to you and your team
  • Compliant with Instagram's terms of service

Q: Can I use Lazyspond on a personal Instagram account?

A: No. Instagram's Official API requires your account to be a Professional or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page. This is a Meta limitation, not a Lazyspond limitation.

Q: What's the difference between Story Keywords and Comment Keywords?

A:

  • Story Keywords: Trigger when users reply to your Stories
  • Comment Keywords: Trigger when users comment on your Posts or Reels

You can use both simultaneously for maximum reach.

Q: Can I have multiple keywords trigger the same automation?

A: No. Each automation has one keyword. If you want multiple keywords to trigger different replies, create separate automations.

Q: How many reply variations can I create?

A: It depends on your plan:

  • Free: 1 variation (no variations)
  • Starter: 2 variations
  • Pro: 3 variations
  • Premium: 3 variations

Q: What are dynamic placeholders?

A: Dynamic placeholders are special codes that get replaced with user information:

  • {Name} → User's display name
  • {Username} → User's Instagram handle
  • {Date} → Current date
  • {Time} → Current time

Q: Can I send images or videos in automated replies?

A: Not directly through automations. However, you can:

Q: How long are profile pictures stored?

A: Permanently. Meta frequently expires image URLs, but Lazyspond automatically intercepts and permanently stores avatar thumbnails when a lead is captured.

A: It depends on your plan's monthly reply limit:

  • Free: 100 replies/month (≈50-100 leads)
  • Starter: 500 replies/month (≈250-500 leads)

One lead can trigger multiple replies, so actual lead count may be lower.

Q: What happens when I hit my monthly reply limit?

A: Your automations will safely pause, and we'll send you an email notification. We'll never automatically upgrade you or charge you hidden overage fees. You can upgrade anytime to resume.

Q: Can I export my leads?

A: Yes! You can:

  • Export as CSV from your dashboard
  • Use webhooks to send leads to external systems
  • Use the API to retrieve leads programmatically
